FILE GROUPINGS AND FILE NAME LEGENDS  [must read monthly]
====================================


The Files in the Site window may be sorted by Date or Type-
yet most often will be listed Alphabetically by Folder then File.

So we will try using long file names to avoid server problems
with multiple levels of nested folders. Folders will be used only
for database or shopping cart needs where a folder is necessary.
Many common files may have to be duplicated and placed into 
separate Site Groups to allow linking back to respective product
catalogs.

Each file name will be made of 3 groups of letters separated
by a dash [or hyphen]. The first set will be 2 or 3 letters 
indicating the 2 or 3 major TYPES of files --One letter for 
each type [acronym].  This first set will work to separate the
files like folders do when alphabetized.  See legend tables below
for Descriptive examples of how this works just ABOVE the legend
tables.  The second set of letters are 2 to 6 letters showing a 
sub group of the major types.  The third and last is the name
of the file in 1 to 4 words.

1st letter - Site Name Group; 2nd letter - File Type; 3rd optional
letter - Sub-File Type Group;      HYPEN   2-6 letter sub group;  
HYPEN  name of file (is last part of the file name).

   File Name -Baseball mylar (big detail view);  Sub Type - JDS gold
     wreath holographic line of mylars;  T-trophyfactory  G- graphic


Example #2)  ----
       -------->  PG-CQPPL-8x10-dir_small.jpg

   An 8x10 Director plaque small photo (not the large detail size)
   in the CQPPL -Custom Quote Pre-Paid legal sub group of the 
   PG - Plaquefactory Graphics file section.

1st letter is always one of the Sites found in the-
    
     SITE GROUPS - [listed in order of priority, 1 ltr/domainname]

    E - Plaque Express Files  (Quick production & Shipping)
    P - Plaquefactory group of files (full catalog)
    T - Trophyfactory
    A - Awardfactory
    L - PPLawards.com
    F - Awards4Free.com
    C - Common files to all under shared IP addr. these
        could be basic support pages and graphics and/or
        e-comm files like for shopping carts, etc.


2nd Letter is one of the File Types found on this list-
          
    FILE TYPES - 
  G - graphics file - may be followed by a 3rd subgraphicfile letter
  H - html (or S=shtml; A=asp; X=xml;cf=coldfusion 
                  these could be '2nd letters'just like html is)
  F - Flash is so big in interactive graphics 3rd letters may be
      needed for Flash Buttons -FB or F_ for Flash code files, etc.
  "X" - or any other that could be added to this list as needed
        (ie. - Shopping cart or database files)

  **this list will grow longer over time.
  -----> 3rd letter must be a subset of 2nd letter!
         If a subgroup gets big create a 2nd letter file type and
          - add it to the file types list as long as it is a 
            different kind from the 1st three in file types list.

  CQ  - Custom Quotes pages for non-repeat or first time customers
        like:  CQBLL-  BrandywineLL; CQPIED-   Piedmont quotes etc.
                  CQbizname or CQbuyer etc.
        Those that need more than one page at one time period are
        usually for repeat buyers or large groups and/or big buyers and
      they will be moved to their own Welcome group and the CQ prefix will
      be dropped off the group name -as shown in next paragraph.
